Selena Gomez at Arizona State Fair Sunday at Veterans Memorial Coliseum

The mention of the Wizards of Waverly Place star singing made the crowd triple excited Arizona State Fair Sunday at Veterans Memorial Coliseum. She got more enthusiasm when she sang her new song “A Year Without Rain”, a song that she wrote for her show, Wizards of Waverly Place . “A Year Without Rain” is actually the second single on her band, Selena Gomez & The Scene album which is the Top 40 on the Hot 100. Selena opened he show by singing Round & Round first, which is one of my fave songs of Selena Gomez & The Scene.

The fair included appearances by Pat Benatar singing Love is a Battlefield, Jason Derulo singing one of my fave songs, In My Head, and Taylor Swift’s beautiful songs You Belong With Me. Most songs worked a dance-pop vibe, including the Madonna-flavored “Off the Chain. But there were clear traces of  ’70s glam in Rock God and’60s garage in Kiss and Tell, a surprisingly gritty rocker built on a Bo Diddley beat. She threw some sassy New Wave vocals into the audience shoutalong More and appeared to be channeling Ke$ha in some of the quirkier parts of Falling Down and Intuition .

Fan Accidentally Mistakens Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato

The two Disney stars are both acting and singing, Gomez might take offense to people calling her Demi. Hollywood News just wrote that Selena was mistaken for Sonny With A Chance’s Demi Lovato. A fan recently ran up to Selena and flattered over how much she loves Demi. The fan allegedly also said that she is a huge fan of Camp Rock, which is the movie Demi Lovato and Jonas Brothers.

Selena and Demi, once starred in a Disney film together, The Princess Protection Program. However, the fans don’t know this, but they parted. Selena is now best friends with Taylor Swift and Demi’s new bff is Hannah Montana Forever’s Miley Cyrus. With Selena’s and Demi’s similar hair (Demi just dyed it black) it would be hard for a fan sometimes.

‘Wizards of Waverly Place’ fourth season starts on November 12

Wizards of Waverly Place is now on its fourth season starring  Selena Gomez as Alex, David Henrie as Justin, Jake T. Austin as Max, David Deluise as Jerry, and Maria Canal Barbara as Teresa, and a new wizard joining the cast, Bailee Madison (little foster girl from Drake and Josh’s Christmas Movie) and plus Alex’s purebred werewolf boyfriend on Wizards, Greg Sulkin as Mason

The season begins with Alex revealing her families deepest, darkest secret, not knowing that the government is actually tricking her, plus to add a little more drama Alex does something that could change Max’s life forever.

Demi Lovato: Bullied At School

Demi Lovato, when she was age 12, she was bullied so bad that she ended up being home-schooled with Wizards of Waverly Place’s Selena Gomez, her current BFF. “I just remember the hard times that I went through that caused problems that I struggle with every day to this day. I was bottling it up 100 per cent and one day I was in a bathroom and the lights were out, I couldn’t turn them on because you had to have a key in a separate part of the school,” Demi Lovato said. I just called my mom and I was crying and I said ‘I don’t want to go to school any more. It was a rough time, I was by myself.’
