New Nickelodeon Show: Sam & Cat

Sadly, our beloved Nickelodeon TV show, iCarly is coming to an end and showing the finale on television in November.

The only good news about this is that the iCarly cast are moving on in their lives. Miranda Cosgrove is going to college, Nathan Kress and Jerry Trainor are most likely getting movie roles, and Noah Munck (who plays Gibby) is rumoured to get his own show, too. How about Jennette McCurdy?

Dirty blond 19-year-old singer and actress Jennette McCurdy has played exciting and slightly rude Sam Puckett for almost five years. What will she do now?

Our blond and loveable Jennette will be having her own show soon. Who will be her co-star? None other then redhead “Put Your Hearts Up” singer, Ariana Grande!

The show will be named Sam & Cat and has a surprising plot, especially for feisty and funny Sam Puckett and eccentric and nice Cat Valentine. They will somehow end up as roommates and to make up the money, will have a babysitting a business.

Massachusetts Town Prohibits Swearing

Wow! Talk about a law! Everyone has heard a swear word in their lifetime from time to time and I guess Middleborough has taken this quite seriously.

Middleborough’s mayor is probably going to be richer than ever this year. If anyone uses profanity ever in that town, you will have to pay a twenty dollar fine. Almost twenty five thousand people will have to keep their swearing mouths shut for a while.

Lots of people make fun of this law because they think it’s ridiculous. Well, for me, I have a fifty-fifty opinion with this story.

It’s kind of a good law to me, whether you like it or not. Swearing is a big part of our society now like in movies, books, songs, shows, you name it. Frankly, it’s getting annoying. Almost every time when you think you have a squeaky clean, but funny comedy after you order it on Netflix, all of a sudden the F-bomb comes up. Gosh, it’s getting almost unbearable.

I have another opinion, too. Three words: freedom of speech. America says we have freedom of speech, but does Middleborough really follow that law? It’s not right for someone to keep somebody else from saying what they want. We do have mouths, so just use it!
